The OSCE expressed condolences over the crash of the Il-76
Spokesman for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe David Dudge expressed sympathy for the crash of the Il-76 military aircraft near Belgorod.
“The OSCE can only further condemn the violence and reiterate that protecting life is of paramount importance,” Daj said.
He noted that the OSCE organization does not accept any forms of violence and perceives every such event as a tragedy.
Earlier it became known about the crash of an Il-76 military aircraft in the Belgorod region. On board were six crew members, 65 prisoners of war of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as three accompanying persons. The Ministry of Defense reported that the plane crashed after it was hit by a shell from an anti-aircraft missile system that fired at an Il-76 from the Kharkov region.
