The Observer: Johnson abandoned the fight for premiership for selfish interests
[ad_1]
According to The Observer, Boris Johnson withdrew his candidacy from the election of the head of the Conservative Party and the prime minister, as he could lose large income from public speaking and the sale of memoirs.
According to a source cited by the authors of the publication, Johnson was in talks with Hollywood talent agency Endeavor on the topic of paid performances. Estimated income from them could reach 10 million pounds.
If Johnson took part in the fight for the premiership, but lost, these revenues could fall by half, politicians at the company warned.
