Over the past week, during a special military operation (SVO) on the territory of Ukraine, 36 Ukrainian military personnel were captured by Russia. This was announced by official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov.
“Within a week, 36 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered,” the lieutenant general said on Saturday.
In addition, according to the Russian defense department, since the beginning of the SVO, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 570 aircraft, 265 helicopters, 12,166 thousand drones, 464 air defense systems, about 15 thousand tanks and other armored combat vehicles, as well as 1,218 MLRS, 8,008 field artillery pieces and mortars.
