According to a survey by the hh.ru portal, the number of Russians who are confident that they will not be fired from their current job has reached 41%. This was a record since 2021, when 39% of respondents expressed this opinion.
The survey was conducted from July 26 to August 31. 10 thousand people took part in it. The results of the study are RBC.
Trade workers and blue-collar workers are the most optimistic about finding work in their specialty. According to hh.ru, over the year the number of vacancies for the former increased by 52%, for the latter – by 62%. Service sector employees are confident that they will find work within three months. Workers in the arts, media and IT sectors find finding a new job a challenging task.
As the portal notes, in the first half of the year, interest in searching for work on the Internet decreased by 30% compared to the same period in 2022. Only in the North Caucasus region, search queries for work remained at the level of two years ago.
According to the Avito Rabota service, the demand for employees with minimal or no experience has doubled year on year. At the same time, as employers told Kommersant FM, it is becoming increasingly difficult to hire yesterday’s graduates – they note a shortage of personnel in the market and place higher demands on management.
