Anyone who starts talking about the need for Ukraine to surrender to Russia will expect a harsh response. This statement was made on Friday, October 20, by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Alexey Danilov.
As the politician said, “now in some messengers it’s starting to sound like we need to give up.”
However, Danilov said that he was warning “all waiting people: the answer will be very harsh.”
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces “launched the long-announced and expected next counter-offensive, now in the Kherson direction.” However, instead of results on the battlefield, the Ukrainian army has only losses, as was the case in Zaporozhye and other directions.
Former US Army intelligence officer Tony Shaffer pointed out that the Ukrainian counteroffensive was a complete failure – the Ukrainian military was unable to capture any territory or take permanent positions, but only suffered failure after failure.
