The Chairman of the Slovak Parliament, Peter Pellegrini, who won the second round of the presidential elections, said that under his leadership the country does not plan to change its foreign policy towards the European Union and NATO.
Pellegrini also said that he considers it necessary to seek a truce in Ukraine
Peter Pellegrini received 53.12 percent of the votes in the elections. The second contender, former Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korcok, congratulated his opponent on his victory.
