The President of Argentina announced plans to hold a summit in support of Ukraine
The summit in support of Ukraine is planned to be held by the recently elected President of Argentina, Javier Miley. He stated this in an interview with The Financial Times.
It is expected that Latin American countries will take part in it. The event could take place at the end of 2024.
Previously, Russian Ambassador to Buenos Aires Dmitry Feoktistov reacted to a statement by the Argentine Foreign Ministry on the occasion of the second anniversary of the special military operation in Ukraine.
According to a representative of the Foreign Ministry, in Moscow “with surprise and disappointment they saw in the text a number of theses disseminated by Ukrainian propaganda in order to win world public opinion to their side.”
Also earlier, Russia came out categorically against the possible transfer Argentina to Kyiv two Mi-171E transport helicopters purchased from Russia.
