Danilov spoke about the need for all citizens of Ukraine to fight
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Alexey Danilov commented on reports of plans to mobilize another 500 thousand people into the Armed Forces of Ukraine and begin sending out invitations, including to those Ukrainians who left the country and live in Europe.
Danilov noted on the Rada TV channel that the calm and the time when it was believed that the war was purely a matter of military success had passed. “This needs to end, it doesn’t work like that,” Danilov continued.
The head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine emphasized that “everyone should take part in this conflict, and not selectively.” He added that now it turns out that someone is fighting, and “someone is throwing chips at the casino.”
Regarding the mobilization of another 500 thousand people in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Danilov noted that if the Verkhovna Rada approves these plans, the whole process will take a year.
