The Russian brand Tvoye, together with the Museum of Russian Impressionism, has created a collection of women’s sweatshirts and T-shirts. The prints are inspired by Russian Impressionist paintings of the late 19th and 20th centuries from the museum’s collection.
To create the collection, the works of five artists were taken: Nikolai Meshcherin, Evgeny Stolitsa, Mikhail Shemyakin, Tit Dvornikov and Nikolai Dubovsky, who experimented with light and color. The main emphasis is on the bright details that distinguish the works of Russian impressionists: many of them liked to work outdoors, which markedly distinguishes their perception of form and color. The collection is already on sale: sweatshirts and T-shirts can be purchased in boutiques and on the Tvoe website, as well as in the Serovin and Korov gift shop at the Museum of Russian Impressionism.
