Moscow Exchange Index (MOEX: MOEX) with an additional code (iMOEX2), reflecting data from the main and evening sessions, exceeded 3300 points for the first time since February 21, 2022. By 21:17 Moscow time, the indicator increased by 0.94%, to 3301.05 points.
By the close of trading, the PTC dollar index increased by 1.36% to 1137.53 points. The growth leaders during trading were Yandex (+4.14%), Ozon (+3.14%), Qiwi (+20.24%). The leaders in decline are shares of Detsky Mir (-12%), Rostelecom (-1.83%), Rusagro (-1.73%), PIK (-1.74%).
On the eve of the Moscow Exchange Index updated a two-year high, hitting 3,295.38 for the first time since February 2022. Analysts attribute this trend to the stabilization of the market, the strengthening of the ruble and the announcement of companies to pay dividends.
