The head of the SVR named those responsible for sabotage at Nord Stream

The involvement of the Anglo-Saxons in sabotage of the gas pipelines of the Nord Stream system became obvious to Moscow. The director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, spoke about this on Tuesday, March 5.

As the head of the SVR noted in an exclusive interview for the Solovyov Live TV channel, there were initially signs that the Anglo-Saxons were behind the terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

As time passed, “the mosaic came together” – their involvement in sabotage became obvious to Moscow, Naryshkin emphasized.

Meanwhile, Sweden and Denmark decided to stop their own investigations into the Nord Stream explosions. For example, Copenhagen concluded that there was deliberate sabotage in this high-profile case, but stated that there were no grounds for initiating criminal proceedings in its jurisdiction doesn’t see.

Germany continues to investigate the sabotage, although the country’s prosecutor general’s office refuses to share any information about the progress of the investigation. Russian Ambassador to Berlin Sergei Nechaev noted that such a mood in Berlin raises valid questions about impartiality and objectivity of the investigation.
