The Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed conducting an experiment on the labeling of medical products, including condoms, syringes, medical masks and others. It is planned to begin on September 1, 2024 and end on August 31, 2025.
The list of goods subject to temporary marking also includes incubators for newborns, equipment for ozone, oxygen, aerosol therapy and artificial respiration, infusion systems, implants for plastic surgery and cosmetology in the form of fillers and cosmetic threads, test tubes and napkins. The project operator will be the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CDPT). Vedomosti, citing a letter from Deputy Minister of Health Sergei Glagolev to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, reports that the Ministry of Health gave a positive response to the resolution on the experiment. From October 1, 2023, labeling of certain medical products is already in effect in Russia. Among them are hearing aids, computed tomographs and others.
