The Ministry of Finance set several records in the public debt market in one day

The pace of placement of public debt by the Ministry of Finance is gaining momentum: during three auctions on November 16, the department borrowed 823 billion rubles. with an aggregate demand of 1.2 trillion. The total amount of placement for one day, as well as the volume of demand, turned out to be a record. Thanks to this, in 2022 the ministry has already borrowed 1.4 trillion rubles. But this is still almost half the results of 2021 (2.6 trillion rubles) and more than four times lower than the results of 2020 (5.3 trillion rubles).
On November 16, the Ministry of Finance offered the market all three types of OFZs: with fixed income (PD), variable income (floators) and inflation-linked (linkers).
