The Ministry of Finance of Russia proposes to include the Pskov region in the list of regions where an experiment is being carried out on labeling alcohol imported into the country, reported on the website of the department.
“This will create new logistics routes for the movement of imported alcohol. Alcohol labeling in the Pskov region will also help support regional enterprises and create new jobs,” the report says.
The corresponding draft resolution was submitted by the Ministry of Finance for consideration by the government.
The experiment on labeling imported alcohol with federal special marks is being carried out in Russia from June 2021 to May 31, 2024. Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan and the Krasnodar Territory, as well as the Moscow, Leningrad, Bryansk, Vladimir, Kaliningrad and Smolensk regions participate in it .
According to the latest data FCS, 22 customs warehouses (of which 10 in Moscow and three in St. Petersburg), 14 temporary storage warehouses and 105 importers are participating in the experiment. As recalled in the Ministry of Finance, participation in the experiment is on a voluntary basis.
As Vedomosti wrote earlier, the authorities want to expand the list of risk indicators for alcohol control, which are used by departments as a reason for conducting inspections. At the federal level, the number of indicators is planned to be increased from 11 to 18. In Russia, until 2030, there is a moratorium on scheduled business inspections.
