On August 2, the Prosecutor General’s Office filed with the Primorsky Territory Arbitration Court lawsuit to the Fininvest company, which controls the only boric acid producer in Russia – the Dalnegorsk Mining and Processing Plant.
“RIA NewsWith reference to sources in law enforcement agencies, it said that the department intends to return the enterprise to state ownership, since it revealed control over Fininvest by the Cypriot company Rexpol Trading Limited, owned by an offshore company from the Virgin Islands.
According to RTVI, the beneficiary of Fininvest is businessman Boris Mints, who left Russia. Earlier, he was put on the international wanted list for illegal transactions before the reorganization of Otkritie Bank.
According to the Primorsky edition “DV-Ross”, Now the Dalnegorsky GOK is not working. Production was halted on 3 August. It is planned to resume it and release the first 55 tons of the product on August 30.
On August 5, RTVI published an article in which toldthat over the past few weeks, the Prosecutor General’s Office has filed four such lawsuits against various enterprises in Russia. One of them, in particular, was filed with the owners of the Rostov Optical and Mechanical Plant, which produces optics for tanks.
The judicial acts state that the requirement to transfer them to the state is connected with “the facts of the loss of economic sovereignty by Russia” and the transfer of property under the control of foreign individuals or legal entities.
