The Ministry of Finance may expand the list of companies privatized in the next three years

The Ministry of Finance has compiled a list of companies that can additionally be included in the list for privatization in the next three years. This was announced by the head of the department, Anton Siluanov, without providing details.

“We have a list of companies that could be additionally included in privatization in the next three years,” Mr. Siluanov said at parliamentary hearings in the Federation Council (quoted by TASS).

According to the materials for the draft federal budget for 2024 and the planning period 2025–2026, the Russian budget can receive 1.229 billion rubles from the privatization of federal property in 2024, and 1.226 billion rubles each in 2025 and 2026.

In July 2022, the Ministry of Finance prepared draft resolution on systematization of small privatization objects.
