The Ministry of Finance is developing a unified register of budget debtors. The department has assembled a working group of representatives of the Federal Treasury and chief administrators of budget revenues. They design the layout of the registry.

The Ministry of Finance and the Accounts Chamber spoke about the work on the register “Izvestia”. Now the Treasury and the Ministry of Finance are finalizing the resource after testing, taking into account the comments. The registry is expected to be established by 2027.
As expected, the register will help government agencies assess the reliability of counterparties at the stage of concluding contracts. “The development of a resource to control the work with receivables will allow the chief revenue administrators to pay closer attention to the issue, spending less labor and time resources,” the Accounts Chamber said.
In 2022, federal spending receivables rose to a record high since at least 2013. The indicator increased by 53.3% to 9.4 trillion rubles.
