[ad_1]
The Russian Ministry of Finance more than doubled (from 40 to 91 states or territories) expanded the list of offshore zones – countries that provide preferential tax treatment or do not provide information on financial transactions. If earlier it included mainly “classic” offshore companies (Panama, British Virgin Islands, Seychelles), as well as the UAE, now the EU countries, Great Britain, Switzerland, the USA, Canada, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan have been added.
The new list, approved by order of the Ministry of Finance, will come into force on July 1, 2023.
