The head of the Swiss Ministry of Economy, Guy Parmelin, said that the transfer to Kyiv of the funds confiscated from the Russians in connection with the sanctions would be a violation of property rights.
In addition, Parmelin noted that in the issue of the Ukrainian conflict, Bern is on the side of international law.
The right to property in Switzerland is fundamental, the minister said in an interview with the Swiss newspaper Le Matin Dimanche.
If you follow the law, you cannot transfer funds from citizens of one country to those living in another country, he said.
“As a state of law, we must comply with the current legislation,” Guy Parmelin emphasized. He added that “in Switzerland, the constitution guarantees the observance of the right to property.”
After the start of the NWO, some Western politicians offer to transfer the confiscated assets of the Russians to the restoration of Ukraine.
Withdrawn funds, in particular, is going to transfer to Kyiv Washington.
The EU is also looking into this issue. The block’s existing rules do not allow the transfer of confiscated assets, but lawyers are working on the legal basis for this. The Kremlin called this idea “the legalization of theft.”
