The Ministry of Economy has prepared scenarios for the development of the economy, according to one of them, the Russian Federation will reach sustainable growth in 2024

Ministry of Economy together with other departments developed scenarios for the development of the Russian economy until 2030. The target is the scenario of accelerated adaptation to new conditions. This is stated in a summary report on the main areas of economic policy under the sanctions, which was presented by the head of the Ministry of Economy Maxim Reshetnikov.

The target scenario is based on the implementation of systemic solutions that will make it possible to overcome the recession and achieve sustainable growth as early as 2024, according to the Ministry of Economy. “Today we are moving forward precisely in this scenario, having implemented a plan of priority actions,”— declared Mr Reshetnikov.

The results of the work carried out will be reported to the President of the Russian Federation in September, and then, taking into account his instructions, a draft federal budget for three years will be submitted to the State Duma. About it informed Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a strategic session on the main directions of economic policy under sanctions.

Previously in government submitted assessment of the economic situation in the Russian Federation. According to the expectations of First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov, the decline in GDP this year may be only a little more than 2%, inflation – 12-13%, and the fall in investment will not exceed 2%.
