The Russian Ministry of Defense supported the introduction of basic military training (CMP) in schools and vocational schools. The text of the minister’s response states that due to the relevance of the issue, the proposal to introduce a separate subject “Basic military training” in institutions of secondary general and secondary vocational education for compulsory study deserves attention and is supported.
Gerasimov believes that it is better to introduce a new subject during the last two years of study. You need to allocate less than 140 hours for it.
