A Russian military man spoke about a damaged Abrams tank that escaped from the battlefield

After the destruction of the first Abrams tank in the Avdeevsky direction, the Russian military managed to hit the second American tank, but it managed to escape from the battlefield, the group commander with the call sign Kolovrat told RT.

According to him, the armored vehicle was hit by a UAV crew from the 15th Motorized Rifle Brigade. “He was leaving towards the west, they were catching up with him,” said the military man, adding that the ammunition hit the rear rear part of the tank, but it was too far away and it was not possible to finish it off.

Earlier it was reported that servicemen of the Central Group of Forces of the Russian Armed Forces managed to knock out two American Abrams tanks in the Avdeevka direction on February 26. Officially, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the destruction of one American Abrams tank used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the special operation zone. An FPV drone operator with the call sign Rassvet from the 15th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces noted that the naive belief in the invulnerability of the American Abrams tank played a bad joke on his crew.

At the same time, in Telegram channels dedicated to the topic of the special operation, it was claimed that the Russian military had already knocked out three American M1 Abrams tanks in the Northern Military District zone – the Armed Forces of Ukraine used these tanks in their armored groups for counterattacks, which ended unsuccessfully.
