The Ministry of Defense spoke about the missile attack on the places of storage of foreign equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

At night, the Russian Armed Forces launched a group attack on storage sites in Ukraine of foreign-made military equipment. About it reported in the Ministry of Defense in the daily summary.

The strike was carried out with sea-based long-range precision weapons. The military department clarified that the goals of the strike were achieved, the objects were hit.

The Ministry of Defense also added that two artillery depots were hit near the city of Zaporozhye. During the day, the Russian army managed to destroy 14 drones and intercept five rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system. The American M777 artillery system was destroyed in the Zaporozhye direction.

The Ukrainian army made the most active offensive attempts in the Yuzhno-Donetsk and Donetsk directions, the Defense Ministry added.

June 14 Ministry of Defense reportedthat the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since June 4 on the line of contact amounted to 7,500 people killed and wounded. At the same time, Russian troops attacked the places of concentration of reserves of the Ukrainian army and mercenaries, an ammunition depot and foreign weapons.

On June 13, at a meeting with military officers, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Kyiv could lose up to 30% of the equipment supplied from abroad in an attempt to “large-scale” counteroffensive, which has been ongoing since June 4. According to him, since that moment the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 160 tanks and 360 armored vehicles.
