Three brigades and four separate detachments from the volunteer assault corps signed contracts with the Ministry of Defense. The documents relate to work in the zone of military operations. The day before, November 12, was signed the first such contract was with the Akhmat detachment.
New contracts were signed by seven brigade and detachment commanders. The side of the Ministry of Defense was represented by Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseev. He expressed confidence that in the coming weeks all formations and other formations that are part of the volunteer corps will sign contracts. “I have no doubt that the formations that are part of the volunteer assault corps will fulfill all the tasks assigned to them, they are well equipped, well trained and, most importantly, ideologically motivated to perform tasks during the special operation,” Mr. Alekseev said in the video. which was published by the Ministry of Defense in Telegram.
The message of the Ministry of Defense does not provide the names of volunteer detachments and brigades with which contracts have been signed.
In March, an order was signed that provides for the transfer of volunteer formations to the united group of troops in the zone of military operation. Contracts must be signed by July 1st. Deputy Defense Minister Nikolai Pankov explainedthat this is necessary for “a unified approach to the organization of comprehensive provision and performance of tasks” by volunteers, as well as for volunteers to obtain the necessary legal status.
