The Ministry of Defense showed footage of Iskander strikes on the objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has published footage of the launch of missiles from operational-tactical missile systems (OTRK) “Iskander” at the facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). In the footage, the military removes the camouflage net from the Iskander, after which the complex begins to move towards the designated point. Arriving at the firing position, the military brings a cruise missile to the starting position for a pinpoint strike on the target. The missile is launched by order of the commander. The footage of the target being hit was not included in the video. The military department said that the enemy object was destroyed.

The day before, on December 11, in the next report on the progress of the special operation in Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense reported about the destruction of the launcher of the Buk-M1 air defense system in the Kramatorsk region of the DPR. It was also noted that the Russian military in the Krasny Liman region in the DPR hit a platoon of Grad multiple launch rocket systems.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
