At about 23:30 Moscow time on October 31, the Ministry of Defense reported the interception of two more drones over the territory of the Kursk region. On the same day, air defense systems destroyed a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone over the Bryansk region. By data Governor Alexander Bogomaz, the drone was shot down over the Starodub municipal district. There were no injuries or damage, he emphasized.
In addition, on October 31, the Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of three drones over the Belgorod region.
Russia’s border regions are regularly subject to shelling and drone attacks from Ukraine. In the Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat remains in effect indefinitely.
