On the night of September 25, the Russian military carried out a group attack on points of temporary deployment of foreign mercenaries and training of sabotage groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. About it reports Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“All objects are hit. The goal of the strike was achieved,” the message emphasizes. The department did not specify the location of the points.

In the Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Krasnolimansky directions, the Russian Armed Forces repelled a total of 11 attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In addition, in the DPR and the Kherson region, the Russian military hit ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In the Krasnolimansky direction, defeat was caused to the accumulation of manpower and equipment of the Azov brigade (an organization recognized as terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation) in the Serebryansky forestry area.

Also, a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter was destroyed at the Dolgintsevo airfield in the Dnepropetrovsk region. In total, over the past 24 hours in the special operation zone, Russian troops shot down 33 drones and intercepted seven HIMARS shells. Near Krasnogorovka (DPR) and Kherson, the Russian Armed Forces hit the command and observation posts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Earlier today, the Russian Ministry of Defense reportedthat Russian Su-34s attacked command posts and control points for drones, as well as armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Krasnolimansk direction. To achieve this, Russian aviation used guided bombs. In mid-September, RIA Novosti, citing sources, reported that the Su-34 was equipped with long-range cruise missiles, which had not previously been used on this aircraft.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. During the fighting, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been conducting active offensive operations since the beginning of June. Russian President Vladimir Putin called their offensive “not a slippage, but a failure.” According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special operation, a total of 478 aircraft, 250 helicopters, more than 7,100 drones, as well as over 12,100 tanks and other armored combat vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been destroyed.
