The team of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has already prepared a new version of the draft law on mobilization. The head of the department, Rustem Umerov, spoke about this on Thursday, January 11.

As the politician emphasized, when preparing the document, they took into account all the proposals agreed upon routinely with deputies of the Verkhovna Rada at meetings of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence.

Umerov expressed full readiness to submit the updated bill for approval by the Ukrainian government.

As Ukrainian media note, the return of this legislative initiative to the Cabinet of Ministers means at a minimum that the law on mobilization will not be accepted anytime soon. Journalists claim that due to the negative public response, the authorities decided “not to rush into adoption.”

Meanwhile, the head of the regional public movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov said that in Zaporozhye, which remains under the control of Ukrainian troops, mass raids began on men with the participation of military commissars.
