Russian troops repulsed 14 attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​the villages of Rabotino and Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye direction, reported The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in its daily report on the progress of the special operation.

“In the Zaporozhye direction, units of the Russian group of troops, air strikes and artillery fire over the past day repelled 14 attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Verbove and Rabotino, Zaporozhye region,” the report says.

Enemy losses in this area are said to have amounted to 110 soldiers, two tanks, as well as several units of other equipment and artillery systems.

In the Donetsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine made nine attempts to attack with assault groups in the areas of the settlements of Kleshcheevka, Andreevka and Khimik, eventually losing over 300 people and one tank. On the Kupyansk direction, the Russian Armed Forces repelled four attacks, and on the Krasnolimansky one – one.

The report also reports the destruction of three sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Pereyaslavsky Island in the Kherson direction, as well as field ammunition depots near the villages of Krasnoe and Novomikhailovka in the DPR.

The minister also pointed to the “colossal losses” of the Ukrainian army. Since the beginning of the counteroffensive, Ukraine has lost more than 66,000 people and 7,600 weapons, Shoigu said.
