On the night of May 19, the Russian military attacked the points of deployment and training centers of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), ammunition depots, weapons and foreign-made equipment. The target has been reached informs the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense in its daily report on the progress of the special operation.
“Tonight, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a sea-launched high-precision long-range weapon at the deployment points and training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as warehouses of ammunition, weapons and foreign-made equipment. The target has been reached. All designated objects were hit,” the message says.
As a result of the strikes, the Ministry of Defense clarified, the supply, training and formation of reserves of Ukrainian troops for combat missions were disrupted.
“On the Artyomovsky tactical direction, assault detachments fought in the western part of the city. The units of the “Southern” group of forces held back the enemy, covering the flanks of the assault detachments,” the defense department added.
In the areas of the settlements of Timkovka, Sinkovka, Kharkiv region and Rozovka, the LPR managed to stop the actions of three Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
A warehouse of rocket and artillery weapons was destroyed near the village of Bokovoe DPR, the Russian Defense Ministry added.
An artillery ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hit near the village of Krasnoarmeysk in the DPR, and a fuel storage facility for Ukrainian military equipment was destroyed in Mervichi, Lviv region.
