The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the successful training launch of the mobile-based solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile PGRK Yars. The rocket was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome.
“Training combat units arrived at the specified area at the Kura training ground on the Kamchatka Peninsula,” it reported department.
The training launch, carried out by the crew of the Yoshkar-Ola missile formation, confirmed the tactical, technical and flight characteristics of the missile system. The personnel also worked out the procedure for redeployment and preparation for a missile launch. The Ministry of Defense stated that all assigned tasks were completed in full.
