On the night of August 28, the Russian military attacked the depot of aviation weapons and ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. About it reported Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“Tonight, the Navy inflicted a group strike with long-range high-precision sea-based weapons on the depot of aviation weapons and ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The target has been reached. The object was hit,” the message says. The exact location of the warehouse that was hit was not given.
Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation repelled seven enemy attacks in the Zaporozhye direction, and two each in the Donetsk, Kupyansk, Krasnoliman and directions. Also, the Russian army stopped two attacks of the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Yuzhno-Donets direction.
In the area of Chervonaya Dibrova (LPR), the command and observation post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hit. In addition, three JDAM guided bombs and one HIMARS multiple rocket launcher were intercepted by Russian air defense systems.
August 27 Ministry of Defense reported about the strike on the airfield in the Pinchukov region in the Kyiv region. Also, in the Kupyansk, Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Krasnoliman directions, in total, the Russian army repelled 21 attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. According to the Ministry of Defense, since that moment, 466 aircraft, 247 helicopters, over 6,100 drones, as well as more than 11,500 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been destroyed.
