Russian troops repulsed four attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of the villages of Rabotino and Verbove in the Zaporozhye direction, reported The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in its daily report on the progress of the special operation.

“Units of the Russian group of forces, air strikes and artillery fire repelled four attacks by assault detachments of the 47th, 65th mechanized, 46th airmobile, 82nd air assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 15th brigade of the National Guard in the areas of the settlements of Rabotino and Willow,” the statement said.

The enemy lost, in particular, two armored fighting vehicles, as well as five different artillery pieces. In the Yuzhno-Donets direction, Russian troops inflicted fire damage on the 72nd mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Ugledar, and also destroyed the ammunition depot of the 117th mechanized brigade in the Kamyshevakhi area.

In the Donetsk direction, Russian forces improved their position along the front line in the Kleshcheevka area, repelling five attacks by the Armed Forces assault groups in the Artemovsk and Maryinka areas. The Ukrainian side is said to have lost more than 250 soldiers and one tank in the fighting here. On the Krasnoliman direction, two attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Grigorovka and Chervonaya Dibrova. In the Kherson region, the Russian side destroyed a field ammunition depot of the 106th Territorial Defense Brigade, as well as a drone command post near Otradokamenka.

The most difficult situation during this period was observed in the Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions, the Defense Ministry added. According to the agency, during the week the Russian Armed Forces repulsed 44 enemy attacks in the Zaporozhye direction, 36 in the Donetsk direction. In addition, 14 attacks were repelled in the Krasnolimansky direction.
