Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have made attempts to attack in three directions in the zone of the special operation, reported The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in its daily summary.

We are talking about the Donetsk, Krasno-Limansky and South-Donetsk directions. On Donetsk in the areas of Belogorovka and Thin in the LPR, the Ukrainian side made four attacks, which were repelled by units of the “Southern” group of troops of the Russian Federation. In the Krasno-Limansky direction, the Russian Armed Forces attacked units of the 21st, 42nd and 67th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of several villages in the LPR, and also stopped the actions of the DRG of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Kuzmino.

In the South-Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian military attempted an offensive in the area of ​​​​the Vremevsky ledge, which was also repelled.

The report also notes that, among other things, Russian forces over the past day destroyed ammunition depots of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade near the village of Kizomys and the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Vyemka in the DPR.

The Ministry of Defense also reported that as a result of a precision strike on June 27 at the point of temporary deployment of the 56th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kramatorsk, two generals who participated in the headquarters meeting, “up to 50 officers of the armed forces of Ukraine, as well as up to 20 foreign mercenaries and military advisers, were killed “. The MoD first reported this strike on 28 June.

In its report dated June 28, the Ministry of Defense also reported on the defeat of the command and observation posts of the battalions of the 63rd mechanized and 10th mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the regions of Predtechen and Vesely DPR. A warehouse of missiles and ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Novopavlovka area of ​​the DPR was also destroyed. Russian troops in the Donetsk direction repelled five attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Artemovsk, Pervomaisky, Petrovsky and Vesyoliy DPR.

Today, June 29, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the goals of the special operation are unchanged and they will be achieved. According to him, now there are no prerequisites for a peaceful settlement of the conflict and in order to “reduce the percentage of achievement of these goals [целей спецоперации] into the political and diplomatic channel.
