Also in the Artemovsk area, the Russian military hit three accumulations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Makeevka and Chervona Dibrova of the LPR was suppressed. In addition, Russian troops found two groups of Ukrainian saboteurs in the DPR.
In the Yuzhnodonets direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine made five attempts to attack Russian positions, all of them were repulsed, the Ministry of Defense emphasizes. Also in the area of Vuhledar, the Russian military eliminated a group of Ukrainian saboteurs.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was repelled in the area of the Zherebyanky settlement of the Zaporozhye region. In the area of Lugovsky, Marfopol and Mirny, the activities of three Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs) were suppressed.
During the day, more than 680 military personnel, four tanks, five armored vehicles, etc., were lost in these four directions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, follows from the summary of the Russian department.
The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. During the hostilities, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of the Russian Federation. According to the Ministry of Defense, since the start of the special operation, 449 aircraft, 241 helicopters, almost 4,900 drones, as well as more than 10,500 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been destroyed.
