The Russian military repelled five counterattacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the LPR in the Kupyansk direction. About it reported Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“Over the past day, five counterattacks of the assault detachments of the 68th Jaeger, 32nd and 43rd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Sergeevka and Novoegorovka of the Luhansk People’s Republic,” the report says.

The department noted that the Russian Armed Forces continued their offensive in this direction, improving the situation along the front line. Also in the area of ​​the Petrovsky LPR, the enemy ammunition depot was destroyed.

In the Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Krasnolimansky directions, over the past day, Russian troops have repelled a total of 13 attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, an S-200 anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed in the Slavyansk region (DPR). Near Ugledar and Selidovo, the RF Armed Forces hit a command post and a field training camp for military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Today, the head of the press center of the Russian group of troops “Center” Alexander Savchuk informedthat the Russian troops repulsed the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the nationalists of the Azov brigade in the Krasnolimansky direction (recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in the Russian Federation). According to him, the enemy lost more than 60 people, an infantry vehicle, an armored combat vehicle, two pickup trucks and two Leleka-100 drones were also destroyed.
