The Ministry of Defense announced the reflection of 30 attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk direction

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has repulsed 30 attacks by the armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk direction. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the next report on the course of the special operation.

“During the day, the armed forces of Ukraine continued their attempts to attack in the Donetsk, Yuzhnodonetsk and Krasnolimansk directions,” – says in the message.

It is noted that the enemy’s attempts to attack were thwarted in the areas of the settlements of Zolotarevka of the LPR, as well as Disputed, Klescheevka, Andreevka, Sol, Severnoye, Veseleye, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye, Krasnogorovka and Petrovsky DPR. In addition, the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation hit the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in two areas west of Andreevka and Kleshcheevka.

In the Yuzhnodonetsk direction, an enemy attack was repelled in the area of ​​​​Staromayorsky DPR. Also, the Russian military stopped reconnaissance in combat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​Ugledar. Under Sladky in the DPR, the RF Armed Forces discovered a group of Ukrainian saboteurs. In the Krasnolimansky direction, Russian troops repulsed two attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Torsky (DPR) and Karmazinovka (LPR). Near Terna, the RF Armed Forces stopped the activities of another group of Ukrainian saboteurs.

In addition, in the DPR, Russian pilots shot down a Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopter in the air. Also, air defense systems intercepted four Storm Shadow cruise missiles in a day, the military department noted.

The day before, July 11, the Ministry of Defense reportedthat the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued the offensive in the Donetsk, Krasnoliman and Yuzhno-Donetsk directions. In particular, the RF Armed Forces repulsed nine enemy attacks in the Donetsk direction, three in the Krasnoliman direction, and one in the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction. By data Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu, since the beginning of the counteroffensive, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost more than 26,000 soldiers.

The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. During the hostilities, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of the Russian Federation. According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special operation, 455 aircraft, 242 helicopters, almost 5,000 drones, as well as more than 10,600 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been destroyed.
