The Armed Forces (AF) of Russia over the past day repelled 10 attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the settlements of Krasnogorovka, Avdeevka and Maryinka in the DPR, says in the daily report of the Ministry of Defense on the progress of the special operation.
Four attacks of tank-reinforced units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were also repulsed in the Orekhovsky direction and on the Vremevsky ledge. At the same time, the losses of the Ukrainian army in the Zaporozhye and Yuzhno-Donetsk directions amounted to 260 soldiers, the department added.
The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Krasnolimansk direction amounted to up to 100 servicemen, in the Donetsk direction – up to 220 people. Also, 25 military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were lost in the Kherson direction, the M777 artillery system and the D-30 howitzer were also destroyed there. In addition, during the day the Russian army destroyed eight warehouses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with ammunition.
The Ministry of Defense also reported on the suppression of attacks by Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs). In the Zaporozhye region, the RF Armed Forces destroyed saboteurs in the Polozhsky direction, and three DRGs were stopped in the Kupyansky direction.
On June 13, at a meeting with military officers, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Kyiv could lose up to 30% of the equipment delivered from abroad after the start of the counteroffensive, which Ukraine has been conducting since June 4. According to him, since that moment the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 160 tanks and 360 armored vehicles. According to the Ministry of Defense, as of June 14, since the beginning of offensive operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost 7500 people killed and wounded.
