The Ministry of Defense announced the loss of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about 350 soldiers in the Donetsk direction

As a result of the offensive actions of the Russian troops in the Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian side lost about 350 servicemen, according to the daily summary The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on the course of the special operation in Ukraine.

“In the Donetsk direction, during active operations by units of the Southern Group of Forces, air strikes, artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems, about 350 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, four vehicles, a D-20 howitzer and two D-30 howitzers were destroyed per day,” – the message says.

In the Krasnolimansky direction, the Russian Armed Forces hit the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Stelmahovka, Chervonopopovka, Chervonaya Dibrova and Kuzmino in the LPR, destroying up to 120 servicemen and an Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer. In the Kherson direction in the Tokarev area, an ammunition depot of Ukrainian troops was destroyed. In the Kupyansk, Yuzhnodonetsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, Russian troops continued to strike at concentrations of Ukrainian forces.

Yesterday, February 27, the Ministry of Defense reported about the defeat of the center of electronic intelligence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Brovar district of the Kyiv region, also near the city of Khmelnitsky, the operational center of special operations “West” was destroyed.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
