The Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of Blagodatnoye settlement in the DPR

Volunteers of the assault detachments, with the support of aviation, rocket troops and artillery, liberated the Blagodatnoye settlement of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), informed press service of the Ministry of Defense in the Telegram channel.

“In the Donetsk direction, as a result of successful offensive operations, the volunteers of the assault detachments, with fire support from operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Southern Group of Forces, liberated the settlement of Blagodatnoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the Defense Ministry reported.

January 29, the founder of PMC “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin informedthat PMC units took control of the village of Blagodatnoye near Donetsk.

Ministry of Defense January 21 reportedthat the volunteers of the assault detachments, with the support of aviation, missile troops and artillery, took control of the village of Dvurechye (DPR). Mesopotamia is a former urban-type settlement in the Donetsk region, which became part of the city of Soledar.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia.
