The Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of the Ukrainian drone in the Tula region

Ukraine tried to use the Tu-141 Strizh drone to strike at the Tula region, the aircraft was disabled by the Russian electronic warfare complex (EW) Pole-21. About it reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“On March 26, the Kyiv regime attempted to carry out an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Strizh type (Tu-141) in a shock performance. <...> In particular, the Pole-21 electronic warfare complex carried out an impact on a Ukrainian strike drone, as a result of which its navigation system was disabled, ”the report says.

Then, they added in the department, the apparatus lost its orientation and fell in the Kireevsk region of the Tula region. It is specified that specialists from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian Emergencies Ministry and law enforcement agencies are working at the scene.

The defense ministry emphasized that the group of Russian air defense systems deployed in the Tula region “provide reliable cover from this direction.” In addition to Pole-21, the S-300 and Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile systems are also deployed in the region, the department noted.

The explosion in Kireevsk occurred on March 26. How reported “RIA Novosti” and TASS, the reason was the fall of a drone with ammunition. EDDS TASS clarified that the explosion occurred within the city on Dorozhnikov Street at 15:19 Moscow time. By data government of the region, as a result of the incident, three people were injured and received medical assistance. In addition, 10 private houses were partially damaged.

The authorities said that residents of the region who lost their homes will receive a certificate for the purchase of a new one, others will be compensated for repairs in the amount of up to 1 million rubles. The victims will be paid 100,000 rubles each.
