The Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of saboteurs in the DPR and the Zaporozhye region

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian military has been hit by two sabotage groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) in the DPR and Zaporozhye region. About it says in the report of the Ministry of Defense on the progress of the special operation.
“Two sabotage groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Sladkoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Levadnoe in the Zaporozhye region. In just 24 hours, up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles and three pickup trucks were destroyed in this direction,” the report said.
It is noted that the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation continued their offensive in the Donetsk direction. As a result, the enemy lost up to 50 troops.
In addition, several units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit in the Kupyansky, Krasno-Limansky and Yuzhno-Donetsk directions. In the areas of the settlements of Kucherovka in the Kharkov region and Novoselovskoye LPR, the Ukrainian military lost up to 15 people. More than 20 Ukrainian servicemen were killed in the Krasnolimansky direction in the areas of Sergeevka in the LPR and Ternov in the DPR.
In the Kherson region, Russian troops hit a Ukrainian electronic warfare station, and in the DPR, a repair point for enemy M777 artillery systems was destroyed. Two missile strikes on the firing positions of the Ukrainian Grad and Smerch multiple launch rocket systems of the RF Armed Forces were also carried out in the DPR.
The Ministry of Defense added that two MiG-29 aircraft were shot down in the Shevchenko and Bogatyr regions in the DPR, and a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter was also destroyed near Dobropolye.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
