The Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of over 200 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the help of Iskander

The Russian Armed Forces destroyed over 200 AFU reservists at a railway station in the Dnepropetrovsk region using an Iskander missile, informs Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“As a result of a direct hit by an Iskander missile on a military echelon at the Chaplino railway station in the Dnipropetrovsk region, more than 200 servicemen of the reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 10 units of military equipment, en route to the combat zone in Donbass, were destroyed,” the report says.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of the command post of the Kakhovka group of Ukrainian troops in the area of ​​\u200b\u200bthe settlement of Novy Bug, Mykolaiv region. As a result of a high-precision strike by the Aerospace Forces, 64 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as seven units of military equipment, were eliminated.

Also, the Russian army hit military facilities in Zaporizhia – the shops of the Iskra plant, where air defense stations were being repaired, as well as the buildings of the Migremont aircraft repair plant, were hit. Workshops for the repair of equipment in the Khmelnytsky region were destroyed, three aircraft of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed in the Dnieper, two aircraft were destroyed in Mirgorod, and three more were critically damaged.

Formerly at the Russian Ministry of Defense reported about the destruction of 600 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk direction. Also, another 160 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to refuse to take part in further hostilities.

On February 24, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, the goals of which were declared to be denazification, demilitarization of the country and the liberation of the LPR and DPR. On July 3, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to President Vladimir Putin about entering the administrative borders of the LPR.

August 10, head of the DPR Denis Pushilin toldthat the Russian Armed Forces, together with units of the people’s militia of the DPR and the LPR forces, liberated about half of the entire territory of the republic.
