The Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of drones over the Bryansk region

On the night of August 28, the Russian air defense system destroyed two Ukrainian drones in the sky over the territory of the Bryansk region. About it reported in the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Tonight, another attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by an aircraft-type UAV on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted. Two unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by on-duty air defense systems over the territory of the Bryansk region,” the statement said.

On the evening of August 27, Governor Alexander Bogomaz announced that the air defense system knocked down drone over the Trubchevsky district. As a result, no one was hurt, there was no damage.

Last time the Ministry of Defense reported on the operation of the air defense system in the Bryansk region on the morning of August 27. At the same time, the Kursk region was also attacked. The ministry noted that two drones were shot down during the night and morning hours of August 27.

The authorities of the Bryansk region regularly report shelling from Ukraine. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, a “medium response level” has been established in the region. The region also has a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat indefinitely.
