In Krivoy Rog, the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation destroyed over 70 HIMARS missiles and two MLRS MLRS launchers, says in the report of the Ministry of Defense.
“According to confirmed information, more than 70 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and two MLRS MLRS launchers were destroyed as a result of a ground-based high-precision weapon strike at a missile and artillery weapons depot in one of the workshops of the ArcelorMittal metallurgical plant in the city of Krivoy Rog. Four more installations of this type received critical damage, ”the defense department said.
The Ministry of Defense added that the RF Armed Forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Krasnolimansky direction. During the day, Russian troops destroyed over 130 Ukrainian servicemen, two infantry fighting vehicles and a car.
In the Kupyansk direction, “preemptive artillery fire, air strikes and heavy flamethrower systems on accumulations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” in the areas of the settlements of Olshana, Kislovka, Berestovoye of the Kharkov region and Novoselovskoye (LPR) prevented attempts by the Ukrainian military to attack the positions of the RF Armed Forces.
The Ministry of Defense also reported that attempts by the armed forces of Ukraine to counterattack in the areas of the settlements of Pershe Travnya, Kurdyumovka, Klescheevka and Mayorsk (DPR) were thwarted in the Donetsk direction. In this direction, as reported by the department, the Russian military destroyed over 40 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, three armored combat vehicles and a pickup truck.
In the Yuzhnodonets direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine “unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position” in the areas of the settlements of Novomayorskoye, Vladimirovka and Novopol (DPR). As a result of the “decisive actions” of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were thrown back to their original positions.
