The Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of 22 Ukrainian UAVs over the Black Sea

On Sunday night, over the Black Sea, air defense systems detected 22 Ukrainian drones, all of which were destroyed or suppressed by electronic warfare, stated press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“During the night, 22 Ukrainian strike unmanned aerial vehicles were detected over the Black Sea by means of air defense. All Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed by fire from anti-aircraft missile systems or suppressed by means of electronic warfare,” the report says.

According to the Defense Ministry, over the past 24 hours, air defense systems have also intercepted five HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and Tochka-U missiles. 10 drones were destroyed in the regions of the Kharkiv region, the DPR, the LPR and the Zaporozhye region.

Earlier today, Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev toldthat on the night of May 7, Ukrainian drones tried to attack the city, the attack was repelled by air defense forces and electronic warfare units. According to him, one aircraft lost control and crashed in a forest belt in the region of 5 km. The second drone was shot down over the sea in the area of ​​​​Cape Khersones, the third – over the sea from the side of the Northern Pier.
