Russian troops in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Zaporozhye region hit the command and observation posts of units of the 81st Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and the 108th Territorial Defense Brigade, informs the press service of the RF Ministry of Defense in its daily report on the progress of the special operation.
“In the areas of the settlements of Seversk in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Gorky in the Zaporozhye region, the command and observation posts of the units of the 81st Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 108th Territorial Defense Brigade were hit,” the report says.
The report of the defense department also indicates that a Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft was shot down by means of air defense in the area of the settlement of Novoandreevka, Zaporozhye region. During the day, Russian troops managed to intercept 16 rockets of the HIMARS, Uragan and Alder multiple launch rocket systems. It also follows from the report of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation that an ammunition depot of the 125th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed near the village of Serebryanka in the DPR. The ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed near the settlement of Udachnoye in the DPR.
“In the Donetsk direction, units of the 1st Army Corps are fighting in the Avdiivka area of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Assault detachments of the 5th motorized rifle brigade and the Akhmat special forces detachment continue offensive operations in the Maryinsky tactical direction, ”the Ministry of Defense specified.
In addition, in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Kislovka, Kharkiv region and Rozovka, Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), the actions of three Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs) were suppressed. Also, the actions of the Ukrainian DRG managed to be stopped in the area of the settlement of Kremennaya LPR.
