The Ministry of Defense announced the defeat of the center of electronic intelligence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Russian military hit the center of electronic intelligence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Brovary region of the Kyiv region, and the operational center of special operations “West” was also destroyed near the city of Khmelnitsky. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the next report on the progress of the special operation in Ukraine.
“In the area of the settlement of Brovary, Kyiv region, the center of electronic intelligence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hit. In the area of the city of Khmelnitsky, the operational center of special operations “West” was hit, – says in the message.
Also, the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation continued their offensive in the Donetsk direction. During the day, the enemy lost more than 250 servicemen, the Defense Ministry specified. An ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed near Artemovsk in the DPR. In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops destroyed up to 70 Ukrainian soldiers, in the Krasnolimansky direction, the enemy lost about 140 people killed and wounded.
In the Yuzhnodonetsk and Zaporozhye directions, the Russian Armed Forces inflicted a comprehensive fire defeat on the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Vugledar, Nikolsky, Prechistovka in the DPR and Zeleny Gay in Zaporozhye. As a result, up to 95 Ukrainian servicemen were destroyed. In the Kherson direction, the enemy lost up to 60 soldiers.
The day before, February 26, the Ministry of Defense reported on the destruction of six sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs) in the Kharkov region. Also, near the village of Golubovka, Kharkiv region, Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
