Russian forces defeated 75 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in 114 districts, reported press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Saturday.
“Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops (forces) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated 75 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at firing positions, manpower and equipment in 114 districts,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
In addition, over the past 24 hours, air defense systems shot down four HIMARS and Uragan multiple rocket launchers, and four HARM anti-radar missiles were also intercepted. Russian forces destroyed 11 Ukrainian drones in the Kharkiv region, LPR, DPR and Zaporozhye region, the report said.
March 10 Ministry of Defense reported about the downed Ukrainian Su-27 in the Maryinka region, and before that, the department said that the Russian Armed Forces had delivered a massive strike on targets on the territory of Ukraine in response to an attack by saboteurs on the Bryansk region on March 2. The operation was carried out with the use of the Kinzhal hypersonic missile system. The Ministry of Defense emphasized that all designated targets were hit, the goal of the strike was achieved.
