The Ministry of Defense announced attempts to attack the Armed Forces of Ukraine in four directions

During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continued to attempt an offensive in the Donetsk, Krasnolimansk, Yuzhnodonetsk and Kupyansk directions. About it says in the next report of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation of June 30.

During the day, the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation repelled five enemy attacks in the Donetsk direction. In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian military repelled two attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The activities of one Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) were also suppressed there.

In the Krasnolimansky direction, Russian troops repulsed the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine towards the settlement of Kuzmino of the LPR. In the same direction, the actions of the Ukrainian DRG in the area of ​​​​Chervona Dibrova were stopped, the Ministry of Defense specified. In addition, the RF Armed Forces repelled an attack by a motorized infantry company of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​the Vremevsky salient in the Zaporozhye region.

Earlier today, member of the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov informedthat the Russian military carried out a counterattack in the area of ​​​​the Vremevsky ledge in the direction of the village of Rovnopol, hitting the enemy positions. According to him, the marines of the Russian Pacific Fleet and the Cascade unit took part in the counterattack.

The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. During the hostilities, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of the Russian Federation. According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special operation, 444 aircraft, 240 helicopters, over 4,800 drones, as well as more than 10,400 tanks and other armored combat vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been destroyed.
